About LSC-Net

LSC-Net is a 5 year project funded by the National Science Foundation and housed at TERC, Inc., in Cambridge, Massachusetts. LSC-Net's aim is to advance the work of Local Systemic Change projects by fostering increased collaboration among leaders of systemic reform and teacher professional development. LSC-Net has created this Local Systemic Change website to provide a dedicated channel of communication among both active and alumni LSC projects.

The site invites contributions from PIs, Co-PIs, Evaluators, and Lead Staff of the LSC projects but also invites guests to browse and learn from the experiences of the LSC projects. There have been 84 LSCs that have been funded since the inception of this program in 1995.

The opinions expressed by individuals on this site do not necessarily represent the opinions of their entire project, nor those of the National Science Foundation. The site encourages expression of divergent views and the sharing of both successes and challenges in order to create a community of learners who will collectively be enriched by the experiences of individual LSCs throughout the country.
