This area contains announcements about upcoming conferences and provides full text access to the past three Virtual Conferences on Sustainability (held May 2001, 2002, and 2003). Also, the "Other Conferences" section provides papers from several LSC PI meetings and "Lessons Learned" Conferences.

  • Third Virtual Conference Archive
    The Third Virtual Conference on Sustainability of Local Systemic Change was held May 13th-May 22nd, 2003 and had two hundred and forty-six logged-in participants with an additional four hundred and twenty-one people who visited as guests. The keynote speaker was Deborah Loewenberg Ball, Arthur F. Thurnau Professor of mathematics education and teacher education at the University of Michigan.
  • Second Virtual Conference Archive
    The Second Virtual Conference on Sustainability was held on May 1st - 9th 2002, and had two hundred and twenty logged-in participants, including Principal Investigators, Project Directors and Lead Evaluators. The keynote speaker was Professor Michael Fullan, Dean of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, from the University of Toronto.
  • First Virtual Conference Archive
    The First Virtual Conference on Sustainability was held May 14th-23rd 2001. The keynote speaker was Professor Larry Cuban of Stanford University. One hundred and forty seven registrants, including Principal Investigators, Project Directors and Lead Evaluators, participated in this ten day event.
